Starfish Language Centre

Starfish Language Center is bustling at the seams taking on bright young students eager to speak a new language- the ever present and exciting English language. Expanding daily in enrollment, we are accommodating both younger and older Balinese people offering English lessons in wide ranging categories; from our Beginner’s English classes to Tourism & Business English.  Also being offered by Starfish- Bahasa Indonesia courses for tourists and expatriates desiring a deeper connection with the people of Bali. 

Classes are held at Ubud’s cultural epi-center, ARMA Resort & Museum set amongst one of the most breath taking natural backdrops and surrounded by art dating back hundreds of years.  Music and dance are woven into our classes to enhance the process of learning English as thy are ever present in the daily life of the Balinese communities.

Ubud is known as one of the world’s most culturally unique destinations where traditions are still in full effect.  Starfish Language Center has been founded to support local life and help sustain common practices through creating accessible and affordable English courses for all.  Our language center is proud to offer free English classes to children throughout Bali supporting the original vision of the foundation. Devoted and desirable teachers from America, Canada and Australia have joined together in support of Starfish and are volunteering years of education and experience to this common goal- sharing English with a culture we all believe has something the world can learn from: community, laughter, and spirit.
